Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, including blueprints and circuit diagrams. They will be skilled in using hand and power tools, such as conduit benders, to install and maintain electrical equipment. The Electrician will also be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical system malfunctions using specialized testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures used in the petroleum industry.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems or components using testing equipment.
  • Install conduits, pull wire, and make final connections to circuit breakers, petroleum pumps, dispensers, and other equipment.
  • Inspect electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with safety requirements, codes, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Advise management, customers, and colleagues on electrical system safety and operation.
  • Assist the estimator with material take-off, cost estimation, and labor allowances.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of Journeyman Electrician experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and codes.
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Work efficiently under time constraints and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Follow company procedures and maintain a clean company vehicle.
