Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team at Lowell Correctional Institution. As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of all types of electrical infrastructure, electrical systems, and electrical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and install electrical infrastructure, systems, and devices
  • Supervise and provide on-the-job training to inmates
  • Perform preventive maintenance and maintenance repairs
  • Prepare reports as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent
  • Plan and organize work to be performed and requisition necessary parts
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in the Electrical/Electrician field
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • College or vocational/technical training in the Electrical/Electrician field
