Position Overview:

The Affordable Housing Repair Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of residential properties. This position is responsible for the comprehensive upkeep of apartment units, buildings, and surrounding areas, ensuring a pleasant living environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement:
    Actively uphold the values and expectations of property ownership, ensuring that the community meets the standards set forth by management.
  • Maintenance Duties:
    Implement a structured maintenance program to maintain the property in optimal condition. This includes following preventative maintenance protocols and ensuring the aesthetic appeal of the grounds.
  • Emergency Response:
    Provide on-call maintenance services for urgent issues that arise outside of regular working hours, as detailed in company guidelines.
  • Unit Preparation:
    Conduct thorough inspections and necessary repairs on vacant units to ensure they are ready for new residents. This includes coordinating painting and appliance installations.
  • Equipment Management:
    Oversee the maintenance and storage of tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and proper inventory management.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Prepare properties for various inspections, ensuring adherence to national and local housing regulations.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with community stakeholders, including local officials and financial partners, to facilitate effective property management.
  • Professional Conduct:
    Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions, adhering to company policies and promoting a positive image of the organization.

Compensation:
$25 - $27 per hour

This role is integral to the success of FPI Management, Inc., contributing to the overall satisfaction of residents and the efficient operation of the property.
