About This Opportunity
We invite you to help shape the future of agriculture at Syngenta. As a Field Development intern, you'll work alongside industry experts on real projects finding real solutions. You'll gain knowledge of Syngenta and crop protection product development, support field development activities, and identify personal development opportunities. You'll also learn processes and skills used to develop products and technologies, and develop an understanding of Crop Protection Field Development's role in sales, marketing, and agronomy.
Responsibilities
As a Field Development intern, you'll gain thorough knowledge and understanding of Syngenta and crop protection product development. You'll support Crop Protection Field Development activities, including trial implementation, maintenance, and data capture in field, greenhouse, and/or lab settings. You'll also identify 2-3 personal development opportunities while in the internship program, learn processes and skills used to develop products and technologies, and develop an understanding of Crop Protection Field Development's role in sales, marketing, and agronomy. You'll manage a project under the guidance of Crop Protection Field Development scientist(s) and develop and deliver a summary presentation of internship experience to stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be enrolled in an Associate's, Bachelor's, or advanced degree program in Agriculture, Biological Science, or another closely related field of study. You'll also need to be fluent in English and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable moving violations record.
