**Police Operations Leader at City of Hermosa Beach Isai**

Are you an experienced law enforcement professional ready to advance your career? The City of Hermosa Beach Isai is on the lookout for a committed individual to fill the role of Police Operations Leader. In this position, you will oversee and direct a team of officers engaged in patrol operations across designated areas during assigned shifts.

  • Oversee a team of officers performing patrol responsibilities
  • Ensure that police equipment and the appearance of officers meet high standards
  • Offer direction and support to officers in managing complex situations
  • Evaluate traffic and incident data to propose preventive strategies
  • Facilitate training sessions for department personnel
  • Compile comprehensive reports on a regular basis
Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity with police department structure, policies, and regulations
- Expertise in traffic management, crime deterrence, and investigative techniques
- Capability to supervise and uphold discipline among team members
- Strong judgment skills in critical situations
- Excellent communication abilities with the community

Education and Experience:
- AA/AS degree or 60 units from an accredited institution OR Intermediate P.O.S.T Certificate
- Possession of P.O.S.T Basic Certificate and completion of P.O.S.T Supervisory training
- Minimum of four years of full-time law enforcement experience, including one year with the City of Hermosa Beach Isai

Licenses/Certificates: Valid Class C California Driver's License with a clean driving history
