Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Specialist to join our team at Robert W. Baird & Co. As a Client Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and supporting the business operations of our Financial Advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new clients, including managing prospect pipelines, assisting with proposal generation, and preparing new account paperwork.
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, including answering phone calls, managing client needs, and advising Financial Advisors on action taken.
  • Business Operations: Assist with business operations functions, including scheduling client appointments, assembling materials for client meetings, and maintaining client records.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to firm and industry regulatory policies, including understanding and maintaining client confidentiality.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses or be willing to study and obtain within 12 months of hire.
  • Excellent client service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service to clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn and effectively navigate Baird's Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
