Job Summary

The Information Security Analyst will play a critical role in protecting the environment and information from cyber threats. This position will be responsible for championing and performing security-related activities, including assisting in the development and maintenance of security practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security practices and procedures
  • Participate in expanding the security landscape maturity and evolving existing controls
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest intelligence, including hackers' methodologies and cyber threats

  • Participate in the development of security dashboards and provide KPIs, trends, and risks to our security posture
  • Review daily logs, reports, and alerts from security-related systems

  • Participate in Vulnerability Management and Patch Management processes
  • Develop system hardening controls and methodologies
  • Develop Access Control frameworks for authentication and authorization
  • Consult on firewall rules, data encryption technologies, and other security measures
  • Participate in recommending security enhancements and purchases
Requirements
  • BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Six (6) years job-related experience preferred
  • At least three (3) years' experience working in an enterprise environment comprised of multiple data centers
  • Experience in security policy development, security education, network penetration testing, application vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and compliance testing
  • CISM, TIA Security+, CCNP Security, or other security certifications desired
  • Knowledge of information security standards and frameworks, rules, and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of project teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills
  • Good record keeping and attention to details
  • Flexible and responsive to changing situations
  • Proven ability to support a strong member/customer service culture
