Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MDS Coordinator to join our team at Signature HealthCARE of Coshocton. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing resident data to ensure accurate and timely completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS). This is a critical role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional resident care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze resident data to complete the MDS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Participate in daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare meetings, and monthly quality assurance meetings to ensure federal billing requirements are met
  • Review and update resident plans of care quarterly and with each comprehensive assessment
  • Provide ongoing education and training to interdisciplinary team members on the RAI process and changes
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current state licensure
  • Minimum three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with long-term care experience preferred
  • Minimum one year of MDS experience
