Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at CPP-Euclid. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a broad range of Human Resources services to support the operational and business goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, attendance, performance improvement, and enforcement of HR policies and practices.
  • Payroll and HRIS: Review timecards for accuracy, address discrepancies with supervisors, and manage employee payroll-related changes.
  • Recruiting: Work with department managers to identify staffing needs, assist with recruiting strategies, and participate in the interviewing process.
  • Benefits: Perform benefit administration, answer employee benefit questions, and participate in Open Enrollment and new hire benefit elections.
  • Miscellaneous: Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and employee records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field required, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of prior related experience, including prior responsibility for payroll.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Working Environment

The successful candidate will work in an indoor environment within various areas of a foundry facility/office environment. The physical demands of the job include sitting/standing, using a computer screen, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods of time, and ability to lift up to 20lbs occasionally.
