Respiratory Therapist

El Paso Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our critical care transport team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to adults.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory deficiencies and abnormalities during transport.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieve desired outcomes.
- Contribute to quality care through performance improvement techniques and data-driven decision making.
- Develop and maintain expertise in transport respiratory equipment and modalities, oxygen delivery capabilities, and respiratory management at high altitudes.
- Foster and facilitate collaborative interpersonal relationships and conflict resolution.
- Three years of experience in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care respiratory care procedures.
- Critical care transport experience preferred.
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Current Texas Respiratory Care License.
- Current CPR Training program required.
- Current ACLS, PALS, and/or APLS, NRP, and STABLE provider certifications required.
- Completion of ATNC or auditing of TNCC or ENPC within the first year of employment.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school for Respiratory Care.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- RRT-NPS certification preferred.
