Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Assist with placement of artificial airways.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient for therapeutic response.
- Notify provider and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response.
- Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients.
- Respond to emergent patient situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation as required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP)
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist
- Associate Degree
