About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Autism Behavioral Intervention Program, you will play a critical role in providing clinical assessment and care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments for patients with Autism Spectrum Disorders, evaluating their clinical needs, biopsychosocial barriers, and family service priorities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, providing linkage to other supports and resources as needed.
  • Provide direct clinical care to patients and caregivers, including treatment planning, parent training, and psychoeducational/supportive services.
  • Collaborate with Autism Resource Clinicians to help families access resources and address barriers to care.
  • Employ evidence-based interventions and strategies to support patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical charting and administrative paperwork.
  • Meet productivity expectations and coordinate client care with other service providers and community resources.
Requirements
  • Masters or doctoral degree from an accredited university or professional school of Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Appropriate Ohio licensure, required. Must remain current in required licensure and clinical or other training as required.
  • Independent license, preferred.
  • 2 years of experience specializing in the care and management of autism spectrum disorders.
  • Demonstrated skills and abilities in providing and managing behavioral healthcare to children, adolescents, and families.
