Position Overview:

The Cannabis Retail Associate plays a vital role in assisting patients with their medical cannabis needs, providing education on various strains, effects, and methods of consumption. Key responsibilities include delivering knowledgeable and welcoming service to each patient, processing sales transactions through the POS system, and collaborating with dispensary management to maintain a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome prospective, new, and returning patients
  • Guide and educate patients in selecting appropriate products
  • Provide patients with a current menu of available medical cannabis products and promotions
  • Manage patient records; verify identity and eligibility for purchases
  • Process payments and document transactions in the Dispensary Management System
  • Distribute printed informational materials to patients
  • Assist dispensary management with inventory audits
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with electronic records is preferred
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities
  • Proficient with computers and quick to learn new software
