Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the development and acquisition of Sentinel Support Equipment.
About the Role
You will be accountable to the Sentinel Support Equipment Branch Program Manager for all tasks assigned. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and acquisition of Sentinel Support Equipment, including Major Maintenance Vehicles used to support ICBM Maintainer and Operator missions.
- Assisting the government customer in the review and assessment of the Sentinel Prime Contractor's design, documentation, architectures, and MBSE products to meet acquisition requirements and timelines.
- Providing advice to Sentinel leaders on all aspects of Sentinel Support Equipment, and supporting ICBM Missile Operators, Maintainers, and Security Forces throughout the acquisition cycle.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor or Master of Science in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- At least 7 years of directly related experience, with a minimum of 3 years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership.
- An active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- ICBM maintenance, training systems, or operations experience.
- ICBM Acquisitions experience.
- Professional Engineering License.
- Systems Engineering experience and/or Certification.
- Project Management Professional Certification.
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
