Job Summary

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist performs a variety of tasks related to neurological testing, including EEGs, Evoked Potential Studies, and Nerve Conduction Studies. This role requires a strong understanding of neuroanatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to accurately record and analyze electrical impulses from the brain and other neurophysiological signals.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare for testing procedures by gathering necessary supplies and setting up and calibrating equipment.
  • Accurately record and analyze electrical impulses from the brain and other neurophysiological signals.
  • Abstract relevant information from patient records and obtain additional information through questioning.
  • Maintain lab stock and order supplies as needed.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Complete required education assignments annually and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • ABRET Registered EEG tech or registry eligible with experience in Neurodiagnostic testing.
  • Current CPR certification.
