About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of IS Development to lead our Epic application team in collaboration with department leadership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day individual and team dynamics, work prioritization, quality, fiscal stewardship, project strategy, and management of all aspects of a project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Epic application team and ensure the successful implementation of projects
  • Develop and implement project strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to team members to enhance their performance and project management skills
  • Make decisions that influence the project on a large scale and serve as the central point of communication and coordination for the project team
  • Manage direct reports and ensure they are equipped to handle day-to-day operations of the project
  • Coordinate overall project needs with the vendor implementation manager and coordinator
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business administration, or related field preferred
  • 8 years of related management or project leadership experience, including 3 years of supervision or management experience
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing and project management skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, evenings, weekends, and extended shifts, and travel domestically
