Cage Operations Supervisor

The Cage Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions at all cage locations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including those set forth by the West Virginia Lottery and federal mandates, as well as adhering to the policies and procedures established by Mountaineer Casino Resort.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitates the transfer of funds between cashier windows and vaults.
- Supervises the processing of W2G jackpot tickets and ensures proper tax withholdings are applied when necessary.
- Maintains accurate documentation for all job functions, including end-of-shift reconciliations for cashier windows and vaults.
- Reports any incidents to the Cage Shift Manager and completes the necessary incident documentation.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
This position reports directly to the Cage Shift Manager and subsequently to the Manager of Cage and Credit Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional communication skills, with a courteous demeanor and professional appearance.
- A collaborative team player capable of working efficiently with others.
- Availability to work various shifts as required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- Capability to obtain a Level 2 Table Games License and a VLT Validation Manager License through the West Virginia Lottery.
- Must successfully pass a background check and obtain a West Virginia Racing License.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A preference for candidates with at least six months of cash handling experience or related background. Familiarity with Federal Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) regulations is advantageous.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The role necessitates the ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. Candidates must be capable of pushing, pulling, kneeling, twisting, carrying, and lifting/moving up to twenty-five (25) pounds regularly and up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work conditions may involve exposure to a noisy environment, secondary smoke, and varying seasonal elements.
