Telecommunications Supervisor Construction Job Description

At Kanaan Communications, LLC, we're seeking a skilled Telecommunications Supervisor Construction to oversee and implement our construction program. As a key member of our team, you'll ensure that each job site adheres to our construction rules, practices, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and implement the Company Construction Program, ensuring each job site utilizes construction rules, practices, and policies.
  • Represent the company and interface with customers, developers, property owners, utilities, and municipalities.
  • Coordinate, lead, and provide assistance to crews, subcontractors, and other interested parties.
  • Ensure construction schedules are met on time and all Corporate Policies and Procedures are followed.
  • Organize, plan, multi-task, prioritize, and re-prioritize daily workload, working with minimum supervision and meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of supervisor experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Working knowledge of telecommunications industry standards, practices, and regulations pertaining to the construction of fiber optic and copper cable outside plant facilities.
  • Knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods and engineering requirements.
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a solo and team environment, travel, and work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
