Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to ensure that we continue to deliver high-quality, efficient care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and assist in surgical procedures.
- Prepare the surgical area according to the specific requirements of various procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments to ensure patient understanding of the procedure and facilitate a 'timeout' with the surgical team.
- Exhibit teamwork and adaptability while serving as a resource for the Surgical Services team.
- Take responsibility for delivering high-quality nursing care and promoting a positive image of the nursing profession.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting is required.
- Possession of a current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory; CNOR certification is preferred.
