Per Diem Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Nurse to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:The Per Diem Nurse will be responsible for delivering patient care in a Med Surg setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care and progress in the medical record.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Current RN license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
- One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.
