Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital. As a Special Procedures Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for operating medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assisting in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and competent manner.
  • Perform technical radiographic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic images and review quality to ensure standards are met.
  • Document all pertinent patient information prior to the exam.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and radiologists.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current ARRT credential and RCIS credential.
  • Minimum of two years licensed experience in Radiology, including at least one year of IR experience.
