Barista/Server

We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Barista/Server to join our team. As a Barista/Server, you will be working with a high-performing and friendly group of people to facilitate the customer experience through excellent service and expert preparation of menu items. You will be trained in all areas of the Front-of-House and will have the opportunity to work with a variety of shifts and tasks.

• Customer Service: Provide genuine and friendly customer service at all times, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
• Teamwork: Cooperate with shift supervisors and Back-of-House teammates and managers to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
• Shift Work: Work through various shifts (opening, mid, and closing) with efficiency and flexibility.
• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve expertly crafted beverages, including lattes, frappes, teas, and other coffee house staples.
• Food Service: Run food orders with attention to detail for accuracy and quality.
• General Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and work areas, including table bussing and other duties as needed.
• Point of Sale: Operate the Toast Point of Sale system to take orders and process transactions.
• Phone Etiquette: Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette and professionalism.
• Menu Knowledge: Memorize beverage recipes and menu ingredients to ensure accurate preparation and service.
• Food Safety: Comply with food safety guidelines in all areas of the restaurant.
• Additional Duties: Perform other Front-of-House duties as deemed necessary by the shift supervisor.

We are looking for a team member who is a high school graduate or equivalent, with prior experience in the hospitality industry preferred. You must be able to work on your feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary.
