Job Title: TIG Welder

Location: Wixom, Michigan

Salary Range: $21 to $27 per hour

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team at DeWitts Radiator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, welding, and machinery operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges
  • Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators
  • Follow, create, and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
  • Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
  • Follow all company rules and policies
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards
  • Ability to identify and measure material
  • Ability to produce quality products consistently
  • Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
  • Must be reliable with a strong work ethic

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical school, or six months+ related experience
  • Strong trouble shooting skills to find root cause of issues and think logically about solutions; mechanical skills to read blueprints and to use a variety of tools and equipment
  • Must successfully pass our extensive welding test
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
