Youth Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Young Adult Care Specialist to join our team at Lighthouse Youth & Family Services. As a key member of our homeless shelter team, you will provide direct care, supervision, and support to young adults experiencing homelessness.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision and care to young adults in our shelter
Prepare meals, facilitate group sessions, and outings
Document daily activities, including intakes, shift paperwork, and progress notes
Collaborate with the team to complete paperwork related to program outcomes
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required
At least 25 years old due to driving requirement
At least 6 months of experience working with youth
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Good written and verbal communication skills
