Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Rehabilitation Counselor to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will play a critical role in helping job seekers and career changers prepare for and advance in careers with a focus on sustainable, high-growth, high-demand industries.

Your primary responsibility will be to gather and review Functional Capacity Outcome and supporting documentation in preparation for assessments. You will also provide resources and next steps, including directing clients to the appropriate team member.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting data, identifying and addressing challenges, and creating Individualized Vocational Assessment Plans (IVAP) with each client.
  • Discussing short-term and long-term employment goals with clients to determine next steps using industry-specific assessment tools.
  • Completing vocational assessments and re-assessments within required turnaround times.
  • Working closely with Business Services Coordinators, Instructors, and Community Partners to maintain knowledge of employment opportunities and training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts, or a related area.
  • Master's degree in Certified Rehabilitation Counseling is required.
  • Preferred candidates have a Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC) certification, but candidates who have completed their Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and are pending certification can be considered for this position under the condition that a Certification is obtained within 12 months of hire.
