Job Title: Registered Nurse-Vocational

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse-Vocational to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will play a critical role in evaluating children's cases and determining their eligibility for disability benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Social Security and Medical Assistance cases to determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Review certified cases and prepare letters or Vocational Reports in a timely manner.
  • Review all incoming medical records and applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare Counselor denial letters for daily cases due to insufficient information.
  • Assist with phone calls to client providers and case workers as needed.
  • Review cases after approval by MD/PHD and prepare closing summaries.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Specializing in disability determinations for children.
