Job Description

At Hire Energy, LLC: Healthcare/Medical Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a long-term care setting. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resident Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, eating, and mobility. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and updated patient records, documenting care provided, observations, and any changes in resident conditions. Assist in the development and modification of individual care plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care and support.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Comply with all nursing standards, facility policies, and state regulations regarding patient care and safety.
  • Education and Support: Provide education and support to residents and families regarding health management and wellness practices. Participate in care team meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and administer first aid or CPR as needed. Follow facility protocols for incident reporting and response.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of an accredited LPN program.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Experience: Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move residents as needed.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
