Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional with expertise in Advanced Practice to join our team at Christus Health.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 5 days, 8 hours per day. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services, including medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Practice within your scope of practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of employment.
  • Assess and manage patient health problems, including actual and potential conditions, within the hospital, clinic, or outpatient setting.
  • Effectively identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention/health promotion issues of the population in practice.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate healthcare treatments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Prescribe medications and supportive therapies to help maintain health and prevent illnesses.
Requirements
  • A Master of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2-3 years of experience in advanced practice nursing, preferably in a similar role.
  • Current APRN License in the state of employment.
  • RN License in the state of employment or compact.
  • BLS certification.
