Position Overview

Euronet Worldwide, Inc., a leader in ATM management solutions, is seeking an experienced Application Software Engineer. This role is pivotal in enhancing our operational capabilities through innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust software applications that are critical to our processing platform and enterprise systems.
  • Continuously maintain and enhance existing software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Create and update comprehensive technical documentation for all software applications and workflows.
  • Work autonomously on projects while also leading technical teams in collaborative efforts.
  • Engage in system testing and debugging to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Follow established coding standards and best practices to maintain a clean and manageable codebase.
  • Contribute to solutions that cater to a global clientele in the dynamic payments sector.
Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience in software development, system design, and integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Extensive programming experience with CLLE, DDS, SDA, CMD, and sub-file processing.
  • Proficient in SQL programming.
  • Experience with RPG LE using free format and procedures.
  • Familiarity with IBM Series technology.
  • Skilled in RPG ILE and RPG Free programming.
  • Competence in multiple programming languages, including Java and Python.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
  • Strong grasp of software design patterns and architectural principles.
  • Proven ability to produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Experience with database management systems such as SQL and Oracle.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
