We Are Seeking a Proficient Software Application Engineer

Essential Competencies:
  • Technical Proficiencies:
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server management and security protocols.
    • Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy configurations.
    • Hands-on experience with SQL Server setup and scripting.
    • Understanding of networking principles and protocols.
    • Knowledge of application installation methodologies and best practices.
    • Capability to diagnose and resolve application installation and deployment challenges.
    • Experience in integrating various systems through web services and APIs is advantageous.
    • Understanding of networking concepts such as DHCP/Static IP and hardware connectivity.
    • Proficient in security best practices for API integrations.
    • Aptitude for troubleshooting API integration challenges and connectivity issues.
  • Software-Specific Knowledge:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
    • Experience with AutoTask and/or Azure DevOps is a plus.
    • Basic familiarity with core banking systems like Jack Henry or Payments One is beneficial.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
    • Experience in project management.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Experience or knowledge of Azure Cloud is a plus.
    • Understanding of various authentication and authorization protocols is advantageous.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
  • This position necessitates excellent communication and collaboration skills, as it involves interaction with diverse stakeholders including IT teams, business users, and management.
  • This is a customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with the financial sector and its regulations would be beneficial.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Approximately 2-3 years of prior experience in the installation and configuration of hardware and software components.
  • Previous project management experience is preferred.
  • Experience in production and R&D contexts within the digital and printing industry is advantageous.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
