About the Role

Providence Medical Group-Eastern Washington is seeking a compassionate and board-eligible/board-certified full-time Palliative Care physician to join a well-established team in Spokane, Washington.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient consultative services with a small outpatient presence
  • Work with a wide variety of cases from the ICU, medical floors, surgical teams, ED, LVAD, and congenital heart patients
  • Collaborate with a robust care team, including Hospice and Palliative Medicine board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, nurses, a dedicated chaplain, and a music thanatologist
Requirements
  • Must be a board eligible/board certified Hospice and Palliative Physician
  • Monday to Friday schedule
  • No call or weekends
  • Team based care model with an interdisciplinary care team
  • Ample opportunity for teaching medical students and residents as faculty of two medical schools and local Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residencies
