About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our manufacturing organization, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of production processes and technologies that support the introduction of new products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and execute production process and technology development activities, ensuring alignment with product and solution roadmaps.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable processes for product introductions, qualifications, and releases for internal and external manufacturing.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and controls that meet FDA CFR 21 Part 820 and ISO 13485 requirements.
  • Provide manufacturing input in the development process, focusing on design for manufacturability, assembly, and test (DFMAT).
  • Ensure process and equipment capability meets requirements, and provide manufacturing input into and implementation of design changes that impact Philips factories and suppliers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with strong knowledge of design transfer activities and process and equipment improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects and lead/work with others on cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with ability to provide technical leadership in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience in validation/documentation and manufacturing, with lean manufacturing experience in a regulated environment a strong preference.
