Cardiac Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St Peter Hospital. As a Cardiac Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients diagnosed with heart conditions, stroke, and other cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to critically ill patients, including those with heart attack, defibrillator or pacemaker implant, and other cardiac conditions.
- Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any changes, enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
- Initiate and revise patient care plans based on continuing assessments, incorporating patient teaching and discharge planning.
- Document nursing interventions and patient response according to hospital policy.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and methods of implementation.
- Practice within the limits of the state's Nurse Practice Act and health care facility and nursing administrative policies.
- Supervise ancillary personnel in their performance of assigned job-related duties.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and the rights of the patient.
- Maintain and update skills needed for excellence in patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, with current licensure in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of current hospital experience in PCU Specialty.
- Evidence of current BLS and ACLS required.
