About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neuro Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Swedish Health Services. As a critical care specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the neuro critical care unit, utilizing your expertise in critical care nursing to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course.
  • At least one year of nursing experience in a critical care setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty.
