- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse
- Certification in NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS is mandatory
- Valid nursing license in the relevant state/district is essential
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Graduate from an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program is required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ICU is a collaborative environment that delivers care to patients with complex medical needs, including neurological, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, and trauma cases.
The role involves utilizing advanced medical technology to monitor and treat critically ill patients.
Key technologies include ventilators, intracranial pressure monitors, cardiac monitoring systems, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central venous catheters, PICC lines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, ECMO, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
The nurse will address the needs of patients, families, and the community by executing a range of patient care activities in alignment with their licensure, certification, training, and regulatory standards.
