As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting Project Managers and Superintendents by managing daily operations, facilitating communication among team members, and overseeing the review and processing of submittals. Frequent site visits will be essential to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular communication with jobsite supervisors and Field Engineers to address issues and provide daily updates.
  • Prepare change orders for integration into Procore Construction Software, ensuring accurate updates to purchase orders and contracts.
  • Assist in project procurement by drafting scope sheets and negotiating with vendors under the guidance of Senior Project Managers.
  • Review and approve Requests for Information (RFIs) generated by Field Engineers or create and distribute RFIs as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit documentation to architects and engineers, ensuring compliance with specifications and tracking progress in Procore.
  • Conduct bi-weekly subcontractor meetings and pre-installation discussions, preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Perform additional duties as required by project contracts or client specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in construction management, ideally throughout the lifecycle of projects.
  • Experience in a Field Engineer role or a related position.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
