Job Title: Senior Front-End Software Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Software Developer to join our team at Finance of America Holdings LLC. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom software solutions using Angular and other cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality front-end software solutions using Angular and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Identify and resolve application bottlenecks and bugs to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Build and optimize queries and stored procedures in AWS RDS databases.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies to build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Coach and mentor junior developers in internal policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong front-end experience with some full-stack experience preferred.
  • Recent experience in a financial services technology environment.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of related experience as an Angular developer.
  • 1 year of experience with.NET Core.
  • Familiarity with an ORM tool, such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
  • Experience with multi-tiered web-based application development.
  • Deep understanding of front-end design patterns.
  • Experience with a cloud provider such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Knowledge of T-SQL. Ability to optimize scripts and stored procedures.
  • Experience with unit testing processes and frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript. Some C# knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD setup, configuration, and processes in a tool like Octopus Deploy.
  • Experience with Agile development lifecycle tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and must be a team player.
  • Ability to coach and mentor other developers.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is ($125,000 - $160,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
