Position Overview

Primary Duties:

  • Conduct thorough investigations and oversee outsourced inquiries related to general liability insurance claims and legal actions associated with construction initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data from diverse sources to evaluate the origins and magnitude of losses.
  • Apply expertise in construction and insurance methodologies to allocate losses appropriately and manage claims effectively.
  • Engage with legal defense and coverage attorneys as necessary.
  • Oversee all stages of personal injury and property damage litigation.
  • Take part in negotiations and mediation sessions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform coverage assessments, prepare legal opinions, and suggest reserve amounts.
  • Deliver progress updates to clients and oversee data management reporting.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation and accurate timekeeping.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in general liability insurance or risk management.
  • Experience in managing personal injury and property damage claims.
  • A bachelor's degree and a general liability adjuster license are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
