Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience with electronic testing equipment.
  • Successful completion of drug and background screenings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Compliance with state licensing requirements and vendor certifications.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Fire Life Safety, Low Voltage, or Security systems.
  • Certifications from fire alarm manufacturers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems and functionality.
Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to use general hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Proficient use of mobile phones and related applications.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights of at least 50 lbs and push/pull weights exceeding 75 lbs.
  • Climb ladders up to 12 feet and operate man lifts for service tasks.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, and elevated noise levels.
  • While performing job duties, the employee must be able to communicate effectively and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and reaching.
Hiring Process:
  1. Completion of the I-9 Verification form is mandatory within three days of hire to confirm identity and work eligibility.
  2. All candidates must undergo background checks, including criminal records and driving history.
  3. A urinalysis test for substance abuse will be required if an offer of employment is extended.
