Job Summary:

As a Metrology Technician - Calibration Specialist at KBR, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our clients' measurement and diagnostic equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of calibration procedures, laboratory standards, and quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate and certify Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex TMDE and integrated electronic systems.
  • Accurately record and report maintenance actions using applicable maintenance data collection.
  • Resolve group and customer issues, and seek to improve the overall productivity of the department.

Requirements:

  • Requires completion of formal training from a military, PMEL, TMDE, or calibration school.
  • AS degree or applicable technical training and certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track, and Met/Cal experience.
  • Previous customer service experience.
