Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Transplant Team at Emory University Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
  • Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician.
  • Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
  • Document the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.
Requirements
  • Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
