We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urology team at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with urological conditions.
- Document patient care and medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician.
- Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
- Order, schedule, and/or perform laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by a recognized certifying body.
- At least one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty.
