Job Overview

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts through direct contact with clients
  • Negotiating payment plans and ensuring timely collection of payments
  • Developing a strong understanding of billing procedures and effective communication skills to resolve disputes and discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports on the status of accounts, and recommending actions for delinquent accounts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Account Management: Monitor and maintain assigned client accounts through direct contact
  • Payment Negotiation: Negotiate payment plans and ensure timely collection of payments
  • Dispute Resolution: Develop effective communication skills to resolve disputes and discrepancies
  • Account Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on the status of accounts

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of billing or collections experience or an associate's degree in accounting
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP/tracking systems
  • Strong phone skills and the ability to make 40-60 calls per day
  • Experience with Excel
