Quality Assurance Engineer Role:

Seegrid is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR). The QAE will be instrumental in designing and refining both new and existing vehicles, accessories, and supporting software. This role involves assessing the implications of design choices on vehicle reliability throughout the development lifecycle, employing mathematical and statistical analysis alongside industry standards. The QAE will collect and evaluate essential field data to improve performance, ensure product reliability, and enhance customer satisfaction and return on investment (ROI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and establish quality assurance testing frameworks for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Assist in the formulation of quality control methodologies and evaluate product limitations.
  • Generate Quality Metrics Reports and conduct data analysis for cross-functional teams.
  • Provide engineering support for Quality Control (QC) technical teams regarding reliability screening, process improvement, and product inspections/testing.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives in response to performance challenges or product failures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve quality issues specific to customer applications.
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure component selection meets reliability standards.
  • Contribute to process enhancement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments to boost product reliability.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and software testing standards.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
  • Ability to adhere closely to detailed specifications.
  • Visual acuity for inspecting materials and workmanship.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and electronic equipment requiring fine adjustments and data entry.
  • Capacity to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in the automotive or electromechanical technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO/TS16949, or equivalent standards.
