Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and caring Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support and care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring residents receive the highest quality care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including medication administration, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as medication administration, wound care, and dementia care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; current MN Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment, specifically medication administration and vital signs monitoring.
- Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing resident needs and providing exceptional care and support.
