About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Research Support Specialist I to join our team at Atrium Health. In this role, you will provide technical support for primary research investigators and conduct technical research procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced office/laboratory environment and contribute to the advancement of medical research.

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provides technical support for primary research investigators.
  • Conducts technical research procedures, including animal research anesthesia, surgery, and postoperative care.
  • Records experimental observations and maintains research data.
  • Assists in monitoring research laboratory inventory and equipment.
  • Operates necessary equipment and devices for research procedures.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree required or its equivalent in experience.
  • 1 year experience in research and rehabilitation, hospital, or therapy required.
  • Nursing assistant experience preferred.
