About the Job:

In this role, you will be responsible for packing, weighing, and labeling completed items for shipment. You will also verify customer orders to ensure they are correct and complete, following all company guidelines regarding packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packing, weighing, and labeling of items for shipment
  • Verifying customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Following company guidelines for packaging
  • Proper use of packaging materials, including hand tools, tape gun, padding, etc.
  • Maintaining accurate records of materials processed through the warehouse
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized
  • Receiving incoming freight from shipping companies and logging it in
  • Moving product as needed within the warehouse, ensuring accurate quantity and location

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in distribution (preferred but not required)
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • The ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, climb ladders, push/pull heavy carts continuously during shift
  • The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and reach over their head while pushing and pulling boxes weighing 30 pounds
  • The ability to stand for the entire shift
  • A good attendance and performance record
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Able to pass a drug and background check
  • A current driver's license
