The Employment Development Department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Program Manager I to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of employment services at the America's Job Center of California (AJCC) in Madera.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the service delivery of EDD programs and services at the Madera AJCC.
  • Ensure that service delivery follows Departmental policies and guidelines; meets the provisions of the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA); and supports a human-centered service design model.
  • Coordinate with the management team in planning and setting goals, as well as collaborating with partners and other community organizations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure effective delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Experience in program management and leadership.
  • Knowledge of employment services and workforce development programs.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Working Conditions

This position is located in Madera and may require travel.
