The Title and Registration Administrator is responsible for a variety of administrative and office support tasks related to vehicle documentation, including taxes, titles, registrations, license plates, and other legal transfer documents associated with vehicle sales or ownership changes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee vehicle documentation, ensuring accuracy in tax and title information, registrations, etc.
- Assist with vehicle inventory management and maintain precise records.
- Handle contractual documentation with financial institutions.
- Generate timely and accurate reports, reconciling schedules on a weekly basis.
- Foster relationships and maintain communication with dealership personnel.
- Process title work efficiently with CVR or DMV.
- Adhere to all Federal, Local, and Company policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations in the execution of duties.
- Complete all dealer trade worksheets necessary for transferring units to related parties or other dealers.
- Provide administrative support as required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in a dealership setting is essential.
- CVR Certification is required.
- Familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds software is advantageous.
- Strong telephone communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Friendly demeanor and a helpful attitude.
- Professionalism and reliability are a must.
- Proficient in computer and internet skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.
