Job Title: Applications Support Senior Analyst

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Applications Support Senior Analyst to join its team in Irving, TX.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, deploying, troubleshooting, refining, and enhancing technical solutions to support critical user needs. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and deploy technical solutions to meet business requirements
  • Provide critical user support to Citi Private Bank
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Capital Markets and trading applications
  • Active involvement in and ownership of Support Project items, covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirements
  • Engage client communications team and publish business user's notification
  • Champion stability initiatives to enable application high availability for Business-As-Usual, including better monitoring, failover, and resiliency
  • Execute and manage release deployments, technical/business checkouts, create run books, knowledge-based article, disaster recovery plans and procedures for application to determine system performance
  • Advise on critical Incidents. Analyze and determine the scope of issues. Interact with global teams to achieve applications high availability
  • Appropriately assess risk for business decisions. Drive and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to internal and external policy
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Four (4) years of experience with the banking industry in the job offered, or in a related occupation
  • Experience with OpenShift, WebSphere, WebLogic, Udeploy, Evolven, Autosys, Scripting, Microsystems, Gemfire, and IBM Cognos Analytics
  • Participation in application releases, from development, testing, and deployment into production using IBM UrbanCode deploy
  • Utilization of Oracle SQL developer, DBVisualizer, MongoDB, Shell script, Linux, and MS SQL
  • Incident management tools including Service now
  • Issue tracking and reporting using Atlassian JIRA
  • Supporting research and investment application issues reported by client and users, and fixing issues within designated SLAs
  • Utilization of active monitoring tools including ITRS Geneos, AppDynamics, Kibana, and Evolven

Citigroup Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $122,000.00 to $134,000.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental & vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs.
